Weekend Online Retreat

In Celtic traditions, which make up the majority of my ancestry, this time of year is known as the portal into the dark season, a time to honour our ancestors and celebrate the new year.

In our time together on retreat, we will come into a greater felt sense of the season through:

-quiet practices like yin/restorative yoga and meditation practice,

-reflection and writing

-making of ritual objects to honour the change of season, our ancestors and as support for the journey toward the winter solstice.

-myth, story and poetry will be woven throughout the weekend, feeding our imagination and sense of wonder.

With intention and devotion we'll turn towards the new season and its many gifts, finding the holy and the beautiful within dark.
