Payment

Cost: For retreat and meals (not including accommodation)

$1535.80 CND

A nonrefundable $500 deposit is due at registration; payment plans are welcome, with final payment due by March 1st

*Payment for accommodation is separate and is due March 16.

Deposit must be made to register for the retreat.

Cancellation Terms For This Retreat:

·     If you are able to purchase trip cancellation coverage, please check your policy that our non-refundable charges are covered. If you are concerned about having to cancel your attendance, then we strongly encourage protecting your investment by purchasing trip cancellation insurance coverage that includes “cancel for any reason”.

Transfers:

 ·     No transfers between retreats, trainings, and/or workshops.

·     No transfers of registrations between attendees.

Refunds:

·    Refunds : We cannot issue a refund unless someone on the waitlist can take your place.

·     No refunds will be made for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat.

Limitation of Liability:

Throughout our work together, participants may engage in movement classes (yoga/qi gong) taught by Carly Forest. Participants agree and acknowledge that these classes involve physical movements and activity that may bear risk of injury. Likewise, mindfulness, dyad, and writing practices may evoke difficult emotions, memories, and shifts in psychological well-being. Each participant accepts all risks of participating in movement, mindfulness, reflective exercises, and writing classes and assumes full responsibility for any and all injury, illness, and/or damages caused by their participation. Participants are responsible for any pre-existing condition (physical or psychological) that may be aggravated by these practices and enter this agreement with sufficient self-awareness to honour their bodies and health, and if need be, through consultation with health care providers. During movement or mindfulness classes, if a participant experiences any pain or significant discomfort, they agree to listen to their body, discontinue the activity, notify Carly Forest immediately, and seek medical attention from a health care professional. Participants understand that Carly Forest is not a licensed physician, therapist, nor a medical professional of any kind, and therefore will not and cannot give medical advice. Participants agree to release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Carly Forest and her independent contractors, from liability for any and all claims relating to or caused by participant’s attendance in any of Carly Forest’s program.

Carly Forest cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property, or disruption of any program due to circumstances beyond their control.

I am participating in Silent Retreat offered by Carly Forest,  during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga, meditation and health. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Silent Retreat. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the Silent Retreats.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Silent Retreats I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.

In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Silent Retreat, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Carly Forest  for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release waive, discharge any covenant not to sue Carly Forest for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.

I agree to hold Carly Forest harmless for any injury caused to me during the practice indicated above.
