Retreating from our own busy lives is a deeply supportive act of remembering: remembering ourselves, our deepest longings and heartfelt intentions to live a meaningful life. It helps us to stretch time and access liminal space. It helps us see, hear, and feel life differently.

Drawing inspiration and wisdom from the natural world, this retreat offers Yin yoga, mindfulness and psycho-spiritual inquiry as a way to assist you in attuning to your external environment and your inner landscape. We will explore practices that foster a deeper capacity to meet life in all its complexity and restore our trust in the mysterious unfolding of life. Our time together will support unwinding from oppressive fixations on perfection, enlightenment and spiritual ideals and create an opportunity to relax into our natural state.

Our time together will also explore teachings on the subtle body and how we can strengthen our energetic fields to increase vitality, enhance healthy boundaries and deepen our natural intuitive capacities. Coupled with writing, self-inquiry work, poetry, nature based practices this retreat promises to stir your senses and help you connect to a rhythm that is naturally yours.

Our silent retreat will be held at the beautiful Swanwick Center in Metchosin, BC.  You will be nourished by delicious vegetarian fare, morning and afternoon yin yoga sessions, meditation, writing practices, inquiry work, nature based practices, walks to the ocean, time in the trees,  naps, poetry and quietude.

Investment (prices include food, teachings & accommodation)
Shared accommodation = $700

[We will be limiting the number of participants and  an application process is required. This retreat is not suitable for folks who are new to yoga and meditation, please join Carly for any of her workshops, day retreats or weekend non residential retreats instead.]
